Pallavi's affinity for all things artistic was evident from an early age and having cleared the Elementary & Intermediate level drawing exams with flying colors, she was soon on her path to a degree in Commercial Art from L S Raheja School of Art in the 1998. Having graduated as a course ranker in her college and a state level campaign winner, she began her professional career as a Junior Visualiser in Paragraphics. Soon, seeing her talent, she was 'poached’ by the redoubtable Ad Workshop to be their Visualiser where she further honed her creative and managerial skills in a longish stint. She thereafter helped Pitambari Products Pvt Ltd, the food to pharma retail giant, set up their own advertising department as their Creative Art Director.
In her own words, this 'building the advertising vertical ground-up from scratch' was a challenging yet exhilarating 24 X 7 X 365 job on hand for a good 3 years where she gained first-hand domain experience ranging from creative to copy, HR to operations, client servicing to vendor management!
With this diverse and enriching experience, she established her own end-to-end advertising agency - Eyecatchers- in 2015.
Soon, always wanting to help homemakers who had earlier sacrificed their careers to restart the same, Pallavi started PENKRAFT - a brand conceptualized by a woman, run by women and for the women!
Penkraft trains homemakers in Handwriting, Calligraphy, Abacus maths, Vedic maths, Phonics Maths and a wide variety of art forms, both, ethnic and modern, and helps them set up & run their own home-based classes. Till date, Pallavi has helped more than 3000 such homemakers pan-India and at a few locations abroad.
Penkraft, now a household name in the world of art & craft, is headquartered at Thane and operates through its Penkraft Centers (franchises), Penkraft Master Trainers & Penkraft Certified Teachers. Penkraft has been a regular participant in various cultural and art fests including the famous Sanskruti Art Fest at Upvan lake, Thane and Pallavi has been regularly featured in podcasts, webinars, print and radio for her contribution to the world of art.
Of particular interest is her radio podcast for Radio Ishq 104.8 FM, wherein she has talked passionately about how her “course in a box” facilitates women empowerment and education!
